Frequently we are asked about the ownership of the Natraj Restaurants and so following is a brief chronology of how we came about and where we are today.

Natraj Cuisine of India was started in January of 1991 by two good friends, Vi Jay Khosla and Inderjit Singh. This partnership was quite successful as the two were able to open and operate five locations together:

1991 Original Location Mission Viejo

1992 Laguna Beach

1993 Mission Viejo relocated to Laguna Hill

1994 Belmont Shore, Long Beach

1995 Fountain Valley (Taste of India)

It was in 1998 that Inder decided he wanted to return to India with his family so they began restructuring the business. Laguna Beach and Taste of India were sold, Vijay kept the Laguna Hills location and Inder kept Belmont Shore. In 2000, Inder sold Belmont Shore and moved back to India.

Meanwhile, Vijay continued to grow his Laguna Hills business and decided to expand with a new casual dining concept called Natraj's Tandoori. Two locations were opened:

1999 Foot Hill Ranch

2001 Irvine Marketplace

2005 Quail Hill
