The White House Restaurant & Nightclub in Laguna Beach is almost certainly the oldest, restaurant in Orange County. First established in 1918, it later became very popular with stars of stage and screen from Hollywood when they would come to dine and hear the latest popular music by the sea in Southern California.

Totally renovated and remodeled, it is now in the forefront of innovative casual California cuisine. The dining room displays an ever-changing exhibition of artwork by local Laguna Beach artists. There is a patio for outside dining and, although the White House is a non-smoking environment, smoking is permitted outside on the patio.

Immediately adjacent to the dining room is a lounge bar with a dance floor. Live music is a long-standing tradition here and is featured 7 nights a week.
